I. My Story

To Be Loved began in a college course where I was tasked with creating something I wanted to pursue. What many saw as simply a school assignment, I saw as an opportunity to launch the career I always dreamt of having—and I haven't looked back since. 

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon (where I took courses on color theory and design), a Timeline Genius Certification, and a LGBTQ+ Inclusive Certification from Equally Wed Pro (because, here there are no limits on love). In 2017, I earned my Wedding Planner Certification from Planner Life Academy—where I learned the nuanced ins-and-outs of everything from vendor management and event logistics to cutting a wedding cake in the prettiest possible way.

II. My Strong Suits

Calm under pressure, always accessible (you might get whiplash from how fast I answer your emails), and a boutonniere-pinning pro—few things bring me joy like spot-on timelines, organized systems, and a thorough emergency kit. As a former Event Specialist at a local wedding bakery, I’ve been known to fix many a collapsed wedding cake—and, as an endlessly ambitious Type-A personality, the celebrations I plan are always smooth, seamless, and timed to pure perfection.

III. My Soft Spots

I’ve yet to meet a piece of wedding cake—or a pint of Coffee Häagen-Dazs ice cream—I could turn down. A lover of aesthetics, I’ve been known to get a bit distracted by the shiny things in the aisles at Target or Trader Joe’s—and, while I love nothing more than planning others’ weddings, I am incredibly excited to be planning mine with my high-school sweetheart of over ten years and counting!
