2018 Year in Review
Having launched To Be Loved Events in February 2018, last year was a pivotal year for my company! All while in college as a full-time student, I accomplished so much.
I officially launched my brand, website, social media accounts and blog. Beginning to grow my followings and connections has been so fun and rewarding.
I planned and executed five photoshoots of all different styles: one branding shoot for my company, two full-scale wedding shoots, one shoot featuring seasonal tablescapes and finally another shoot featuring six brides with six wedding dresses! Each shoot had a large amount of wedding vendors who collaborated with me to create such beauty for my portfolio. Also, both of the full wedding shoots and the six brides shoot were all featured on different wedding blogs, which was also extremely exciting for my company in order to spread the word about what To Be Loved Events can do!
Last year I also helped plan a bridal shower and have another one coming up in February! I found a love for planning special events, especially bridal showers. It is so fun creating an event for each particular Bride to enjoy with her family and gal pals.
All the while, I took a lot of 2018 to nail down my business processes (still in progress!). I invested in Dropbox to store all of my professional photos, Aisle Planner to streamline my planning and many more very important and helpful tools! I also got the opportunity to network with so many Oregon and California wedding vendors through my photoshoots and different networking events I attended. It was so, so amazing to meet and work with new like-minded vendors who I will always cherish my relationships with.
I also became a brand rep for several different companies, including Minted, Happily Ever Etched, Beating 50 Percent and many more!
Finishing out the year, I put together my first pricing guide and packages (so surreal to finally be doing this!) that I will be using in 2019! They are up and running on my website now!
That being said, 2018 was a marvelous year full of growth. I was so fortunate to have so much progress in less than one year. BUT, there is so much more to plan for! Some goals in particular I have for 2019:
Graduate college in June and move myself and my business back to the Los Angeles area
Solidify all business processes (including contracts, templates and anything else I need to full run my small business)
Start booking wedding and event clients! Any referrals you have, send βem my way!
Continue to grow my wedding vendor network and keep in touch with close friendors
Maintain a steadier income come June
Thank you to everyone who has helped me develop To Be Loved Events into what it is today. I will be forever grateful for you and your support.
Love always,
