Anna and Michael had a clear vision for their wedding: a romantic garden fairytale with personal touches woven throughout. Their top priorities included finding the perfect venue that would allow for a seamless event flow from one space to the next, interweaving their love story, interests, and culture. They wanted their florals and design to be a highlight of the day, choosing a vibrant bougainvillea with a pink and cream color palette to bring a touch of whimsy and playfulness to their day. Anna and Michael were highly involved in the planning process, working closely with me and taking a hands-on approach to ensure every detail of their wedding was executed just as they envisioned.

Quail Ranch was the perfect choice for Anna and Michael's wedding day for many reasons. Morning Details & Getting Ready
The afternoon was filled with excitement as the wedding party, friends, and family gathered in the spacious bridal suite and groom's room. Anna was a lovely sight in her lace gown, while her wedding party looked elegant in their coordinating blush pink dresses and navy suit. The highlight of the morning was the special father-daughter first look. The atmosphere was charged with emotions, setting the stage for the rest of the wedding festivities. It was a perfect start to an unforgettable day!
The Ceremony
Nestled among the trees, the ceremony was nothing short of enchanting. Michael's godfather, the Officiant, added a special and intimate aspect to the occasion. A string duo of violin and cello provided beautiful music, setting the tone for the heartfelt exchange of vows. The couple also added personal touches to their ceremony, using a special family heirloom aisle runner and incorporating "readings of love" from their wedding party. Each person read meaningful passages that spoke to the couple's love story from Shakespeare and the Beatles, to the animated film Ponyo. The ceremony ended on a high note, with a surprise petal toss for the recessional, creating a magical and whimsical moment for Anna and Michael to exit as newlyweds.

Cocktail Hour
The cocktail hour was a lively and sophisticated event held on the spacious lawn of Quail Ranch. To commemorate the occasion, the couple created a special Polaroid guestbook and photo display where guests could share their memories and well wishes. The ambiance was further elevated by the smooth tunes of a jazz duo, who played the keys and saxophone. Guests were treated to delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails while the newlyweds took a moment to bask in their newfound happiness. This time alone was a beautiful representation of the couple's commitment and a great way to kick off the festivities.
The Reception
The reception was beautiful and intimate, illuminated by candlelight and surrounded by lush gardens. Guests enjoyed a delicious plated meal and emotional speeches, followed by a night of dancing to the sounds of the lively, Lucky Devils Band. The couple's first dance was a choreographed performance to Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." To honor Anna's Greek heritage, the couple also arranged for a professional bouzouki player to perform during the reception. They kept this special moment a secret from their parents and it was a touching tribute to their love story. The night ended on a sweet note with a breathtaking three-tier wedding cake from Skiff's Cakes, adorned with cascading pink and champagne sugar roses, which was one of Anna's favorite details of the day. The reception was the perfect finale to a romantic fairytale wedding.
