The Stonehurst | Los Angeles Wedding Venue

Earlier this year I had the chance to tour a gorgeous venue which was only a short drive from downtown Los Angeles called The Stonehurst. This venue includes a beautiful greenhouse, cactus and bamboo garden, austere barn, bungalow suite, and beautiful lush hills. It is the perfect location for any special event, especially a rustic, modern wedding. The venue is significant in size, measured to expand at least 9 acres, and it truly feels like an oasis. The barn is the perfect area for your reception with its chandelier lighting and expansive space, with high ceilings and a welcoming rustic atmosphere. The room inside the barn is spacious enough to personalize it to your liking. Another very popular option is to host your ceremony directly in front of the barn, using it as the backdrop! Talk about a statement place to say ‘I do’! Following ceremony, most cocktail hours are held directly behind the barn at the cactus garden patio, which makes for a seamless transition.

The greenhouse, just adjacent to the patio, is most popularly used for wedding receptions because of the beautiful natural light that shows through the windows. It truly is such a unique and fun space! The whole venue in itself is amazing for photography and videography on your special day. The views, gorgeous landscape, and vegetation are beautiful as your photo backdrop that will have you smiling with satisfaction every time you look back at them.

The bungalow is commonly used for a bridal suite and can also hold up to 30 people for a private event.
